V2T Ministry Support Letter
As most of you know, my name is Mark Harrell. I have been involved in evangelical Christian ministry since the 9th grade (you can read my story at: www.v2tm.wordpress.com). God led me to resign the church I planted (Concord, NC in 1995) in January of 2002 in order to learn what I needed to find out to be a relevant Ambassador for Christ in Today’s world.
I thank God for what He has allowed me to experience in the last 25 years of ministry. It is my desire to share that on a national and global scale. The internet provides such an opportunity – especially with the popularity of Facebook and the interaction it makes available to millions.
I lost my secular job on March 26th, 2009. God has not opened a door for a fulltime job, and I believe he is working on our lives to begin the ministry of V2T (Vision 20 Twenty…out of Acts 20:20) earlier than I had planned. I believe now is the time for those who desire to impact lives for eternity to stand up and take a stand, and I am willing to stand on the frontlines and shout: God is “not willing that ANY should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
Once a person receives Christ the battle is just beginning. We must be able to establish, purposefully, each other with relevant ministry tools that can effectively engage our culture with truth. That is what V2T Ministry is all about!
I’ve been on the inside of Church Ministry for over twenty years; I know what we do well and what we don’t do so well. We don’t equip our people very well (take the test on my website www.v2tm.wordpress.com to see what I mean). My passion is to step alongside the church leadership and provide tangible tools that will help their people make a difference in lives for eternity. I’ve put them to the test; I know they work!
$25 a month support
I am asking my friends to help me lay the foundation for the Ministry of V2T. I will take the next year, with your support, and finish all the equipping modules. I will also begin scheduling to speak in churches who desire their people to be relevant ambassadors for Christ to their worlds of influence. This has already begun — as of May 2, 2010.
I need 60 “Get Real! Partners” in order to go fulltime with the vision God has been lying on my heart for the last 7 years (although He has been preparing me since the 9th grade). I am asking 30 of my friends to support me at $25 a month. I would like for those 30 friends to recruit (1) other person to join them in supporting the ministry of V2T. I am already beginning to line up churches with which I can share this ministry.
