Our Recommendation:
I recommend the following process in order for you to gain knowledge of the needed information in a relevant fashion. This recommendation is born out of over 25 years of ministry experience. I highly advocate this course of development. It is the method I used in my training for relevant ministry fourteen years ago.
STAGE ONE:
1. How to Study the Bible: This can be done in conjunction with the Modeling Lessons (Group Setting)
This is a sixteen lesson study (video if desired) that will walk you step by step through the keys that unlock how to understand the Bible.
2. M I (Modeling One):
This is also a sixteen week study that will lay down the foundation with which every believer can build their lives. Once the foundation is laid, one can begin to apply more aspects of ministry equipping provided by V2T Ministries.
3. M I Level II (Modeling One Level Two):
Once you have completed your basic level of discipleship (modeling), it will be necessary for you to learn how to specifically transfer spiritual life to another. This equipping module will only take 6-8 lessons to finish. It is important in order for consistency to take place from person to person – regardless of where one may live in the world.
STAGE TWO:
4. M II (Modeling Two):
Modeling Two is designed to give you everything you can get at a Bible College or Seminary – except we cut out what you don’t need. I’ve been the Bible College route; however, I learned more relevant ministry tools in M II than I could have ever learned in a traditional Bible College/Seminary setting. I have put those ministry principles to practice with great results. There has not been a year in my life that God has not allowed me to bring at least one individual into the Kingdom of God, and I haven’t gone six months without having someone ask me to disciple them. Amen!
STAGE THREE: Ongoing Equipping … beyond stage I and II — “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge…”
V2T provides many areas that are designed to equip people to become relevant as they minister to their worlds of influence. I have used the principles embedded withing the “Ongoing Equipping” modules with great success. These modules will be provided in what I call the “Get Real! Toolbox.” I am designing the lessons so that they can be taken online, via email/facebook, or through the local assembly. The choice is always yours to make.
